Juventus FC: "Sulla Razza" a 12-part podcast series dedicated to the fight against discrimination

Juventus FC (Serie A TIM) has launched "Sulla Razza" ("On Race"), a series of podcasts dedicated to the fight against discrimination. The first of the 12 episodes has been available on Spotify, Apple Podcast and Google Podcast since 12/01/2021. A new episode will be broadcast every two weeks for the next six months.

"The podcast - produced in Italian - aims to introduce a number of concepts and expressions from English-speaking cultures into Italian, including BAME (Black and minority ethnic), fair-skin privilege and colourism (discrimination based on skin colour), given their relevance to modern society in Italy," said Juventus FC.

"The idea of creating a podcast like Sulla Razza stems from the need to initiate a conversation around race in Italy - and to do so using up-to-date language and via a format which will analyse, contextualise and explain the meaning of these terms," added the Turin-based club, whose initiative constitutes the first stage of the "Juventus Goals", presented on 03/02/2021 (see below).
