Serie A TIM: New Balance to succeed Nike as equipment supplier of AS Roma from 2021-22

New Balance has become the official equipment supplier of AS Roma (Serie A TIM) from the 2021-22 season, announced the Italian club on 16/02/2021. The agreement is planned to last three seasons and valued between €3m and €4m, according to the specialised daily newspaper Il Romanista.

The American equipment manufacturer succeeds Nike, the official equipment manufacturer of AS Roma for seven seasons since 2014-15. The agreement between Nike and AS Roma was initially planned for 10 seasons, but was prematurely terminated, as announced by the Italian club on 16/07/2020. The agreement with New Balance will allow AS Roma to receive 40% of the revenue from shirt sales, more than under its agreement with Nike, according to Italian media.
