NBA: Los Angeles Lakers choose Sportfive to market their jersey sponsorship space

Sportfive has been designated as the "exclusive third-party agency" of the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA), the franchise that LeBron James plays for, with a view to the marketing of its jersey sponsorship area from 2021-22, announced the sports marketing agency on 17/02/2021.

Since 2017-18, the e-commerce platform Wish has been displayed as the jersy sponsor of the 2019-20 NBA champions for $14m per season (€12m per year on the date of signing on 21/09/2017). This contract concludes at the end of 2020-21.

"The Lakers jersey patch sponsorship is an opportunity for one brand to assume a premier position with one of the world’s most transcendent sports franchises. The team reaches a massive worldwide audience through NBA international broadcasts, which can be seen in more than 200 countries, and through the dominant social media following for both the team and league.
