City Football Group: partnership with Vannes OC (French D4) 5 months after ESTAC Troyes acquisition

"On the initiative of our chairman Maxime Ray, Vannes Olympique Club (National 2, French 4^th division) reached an agreement for a technical partnership with City Football Group (CFG, a holding company invested in football assets, mainly professional clubs, see below), a process tailored by Manchester City FC (Premier League) to share its know-how and best practices," announced the French amateur club on 17/02/2021.

"This partnership will allow Vannes Olympique Club continuing its development thanks to sharing of experiences, technologies and staff/player training methodology. This collaboration will improve VOC's practices and knowledge to reach our targeted objectives. Further exchanges and events will be organised once sanitary conditions permit," said the Breton club.

The signing of this agreement comes just over five months after CFG's acquisition of Espérance Sportive Troyes Aube Champagne (Ligue 2 BKT) on 03/09/2020. On the occasion, businessman Maxime Ray acquired a minority stake in the Troyes club as well as a seat on its board of directors.
