Italy: Gabriele Gravina re-elected as FIGC president with 73.45% of the votes in the first round

Gabriele Gravina has been re-elected as president of the FIGC for the 2021-2024 period after receiving 73.45% of the votes in the first round at the Italian Federation's general assembly held in Rome (ITA) on 22/02/2021. The other candidate, Cosimo Sibilia, received 26.25% of the votes.

• The candidacy of Gabriele Gravina (born 05/10/1953), president of the FIGC since 22/10/2018, was supported by the three Italian professional leagues (Lega Serie A, Lega Serie B and Lega Pro), the Italian Footballers' Association (AIC) and the Italian Football Coaches Association (AIAC), five organisations representing a total of 64% of the votes at the elective assembly.

• The candidacy of Cosimo Sibilia (born 01/02/1959) had the support of the Italian Amateur League (LND) of which he has been president since 28/01/2017.
