Bundesliga International: 30 investment firms interested in investing in the DFL subsidiary (press)

30 investment firms are interested in acquiring a minority stake in Bundesliga International, a subsidiary of the DFL in charge of the commercial rights (audiovisual, sponsoring, marketing, digital) of the Bundesliga and the 2.Bundesliga internationally, according to Bloomberg, an American media specialised in finance, on 23/02/2021.

The American firms Bain Capital, KKR & Co, General Atlantic and the Luxembourg fund CVC Capital Partners are among the candidates according to previous Bloomberg reports.

The Japanese financial services company Nomura has reportedly been hired by Bundesliga International to respond to enquiries from these funds.

The DFL did not wish to comment on the Bloomberg reports.
