Tottenham Hotspur: partnership with VivoPower (energy) to minimise the club's environmental impact

VivoPower, a London-based company specialised in renewable energy, has become the "official battery technology partner" of Tottenham Hotspur FC (Premier League) until the end of 2021-22, announced the club on 24/02/2021.

"Tottenham Hotspur was recently named the English Premier League's greenest club following a study carried out by BBC Sport (media) and the UN-backed Sport Positive Summit (sport business event). The first-of-its-kind partnership forms part of Tottenham Hotspur's wider aims to minimise the environmental impacts of its activities across all club operations," explained the London club.

"VivoPower will now undertake a review of Tottenham Hotspur's stadium and training centre to explore future solutions that could help the club accelerate towards becoming a net zero carbon business," added Tottenham Hotspur.

As an official partner (second level), VivoPower will also benefit from visibility on signage at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as well as on the club's communication platforms.
