Bundesliga: BetMGM (betting) becomes a regional partner of Borussia Dortmund in the USA

BetMGM, a sports betting and online gambling operator, belonging to the American global hospitality and entertainment company MGM Resorts International, has become the "exclusive regional partner" of Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) in the USA, announced the club on 01/03/2021. As part of the agreement BetMGM also becomes the first US-based sports betting operator to partner with a German football club.

BetMGM has the status of regional partner, the fifth level in the German club's sponsorship hierarchy. "The partnership features cross-marketing opportunities as well as fan-focused assets such as social media promotions, and BetMGM customer sweepstakes awarding special Dortmund prizes," said the betting operator, which will also benefit from the rights to player images, team logos and additional BVB resources for marketing applications.

In addition "BetMGM customers will enjoy exclusive signup offers for Dortmund fans, along with access to co-branded content on the club's English-language social media channel, @BlackYellow," added Borussia Dortmund.
