esports: Uber Eats becomes title sponsor of the Portuguese League's competition the "eLiga Portugal"

Uber Eats, a home meal delivery application, has become the title sponsor of the "eLiga Portugal", the Portuguese esports competition launched by the Liga Portugal, announced the body on 26/02/2021.

The "eLiga Portugal Uber Eats" will serve as the official qualifying phase to determine Portugal's participants in the EA Sports FIFA 21 Global Series playoffs (see details below). This is the 3^rd edition of the competition, which was launched during the 2018-19 season and is broadcast on the official Liga Portugal Twitch channel. The eLiga Portugal Uber Eats "Spring Season" starts on 02/03/2021.

Liga Portugal organises the eLiga Portugal Uber Eats with the Spanish professional video games league (Liga Videojuegos Profesional, LVP), the strategic esports partner of the Spanish audiovisual group Mediapro, which produces the competition through its Portuguese subsidiary Medialuso.

• Uber Eats is also the title partner of the Ligue 1 Uber Eats Name of the French Ligue 1 championship for the 2020-2024 cycle.
