Olympique de Marseille: Frank McCourt lifts all formal notices sent to supporters' groups

"I have decided to immediately lift all formal notices sent to supporters' groups," said Frank McCourt (USA), owner of Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), on 02/03/2021.

The American is in Marseille (FRA) to present what he defines as a "new chapter" for OM and to meet supporters and local elected officials, three days after the announcement of the appointment of Pablo Longoria as chairman of the management board in place of Jacques-Henri Eyraud, now a simple member of the club's supervisory board. The supporters' groups had hitherto been in open conflict with the club management since 15/02/2021 and a letter of formal notice which envisaged the termination of the agreements binding them to OM following the damage caused by some of their members at the Robert Louis-Dreyfus Training Centre on 30/01/2021.
