Jupiler Pro League: Club Brugge KV announces its initial public offering (Euronext Brussels)

"Club Brugge KV (Jupiler Pro League) and its subsidiaries, one of Belgium's most iconic and successful football clubs, today announces its intention to launch its initial public offering ('IPO') with the admission of its ordinary shares to trading on the regulated market of Euronext Brussels," stated the Belgian club on 03/03/2021.

"The offer is expected to include the sale of existing shares without issuing new shares. The envisaged IPO is expected to consist of the sale of part of the Club Brugge ordinary shares held by GrizzlySports NV (main shareholder), a vehicle which will be owned by the main shareholders Bart Verhaeghe (club president), Vincent Mannaert (general manager), Jan Boone and Peter Vanhecke (directors) who, before the offer, will hold a combined stake of 94.34%," added the reigning Belgian Pro League champions, who notably plan to build a new 40,000-seater stadium at an estimated cost of around €100m.
