Premier League: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the 20 clubs (March 2021)

The 20 clubs involved in the 2020-21 Premier League season have more than 556 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/03/2021. This total enables the Premier League to maintain its position as the most popular Top 5 European league, all three social networks combined, ahead of LaLiga Santander, with an average of 27.8 million fans per club.

Manchester United FC are the most popular English club with over 137 million fans, followed by Chelsea FC, with more than 90 million and Liverpool FC, with nearly 84 million.

Tottenham Hotspur FC were the club that posted the best growth in absolute value during the month of February 2021 with 956,979 additional fans, 70% of them on Facebook alone.

In percentage terms, the Premier League clubs that posted the best growth over the period were West Ham United FC on Instagram (+4.7%) Brighton & Hove Albion FC on Facebook (+3.5%) and Sheffield United FC on Twitter (+2.9%).
