Agencies: Sportfive acquires "build a rocket" specialised in esports consultancy and activations

Sportfive has acquired "build a rocket", a German agency specialised in esports consultancy and activations, according to the sports marketing agency on 09/03/2021. "The acquisition follows Sportfive's strategy to grow its esports capabilities globally and to enhance its service offering along the entire value chain of consulting, partnership sales and activation."

"build a rocket will remain as an independent brand in the market place and obtain the endorsement title 'a Sportfive company'. Alexander Albrecht and Tobias Heim will continue to serve as managing directors and the 15 employees will remain with the agency. With this new set-up, Sportfive's esports consulting and activation services will be delivered through build a rocket in the future," continued the agency, which launched a global operational unit dedicated to esports led by Eike Gyllensvärd, in charge of partnership sales, and Moritz Altmann, in charge of business development and relations with rights holders, on 20/08/2020.
