Serie A: a remodelled call for tenders for international TV rights 2021-2024 (deadline 10/03/2021)

Lega Serie A has launched a remodelled call for tenders (modification of the countries and regions proposed in certain lots) for the international broadcasting rights to the Serie A TIM, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana, over the 2021-2024 cycle, on 05/03/2021. Interested candidates have until 10/03/2021 (11:00 CET) to respond.

The Italian league launched a first call for tenders on 23/11/2020 with a deadline of 11/01/2021. The MENA zone was excluded from this, being the subject of a separate call for tenders. This is still the case for the remodelled call for tenders.

The contracts for the domestic  TV rights (held by Sky Italia and DAZN for €973m per season) and international TV rights (held by IMG and RAI for €371m per season) of Serie A TIM both conclude at the end of the 2020-21 season (2018-2021 cycle). None of the Serie A TIM broadcasting rights (domestic, international, MENA zone) for the 2021-2024 cycle have been allocated (as of 09/03/2021).
