LaLiga Santander: FC Barcelona opens an official account in Russian on the social network Viber

FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) has launched a digital community dedicated to its Russian fans on the instant messaging service Viber, owned by the Japanese group Rakuten (internet services, e-commerce, finance and digital content), announced the Catalan club on 09/03/2021.

"FC Barcelona has taken another step closer to its fans around the world on social networks and will now be able to directly address Russian speaking fans in their own language. Through Viber, the messaging app that is the club's official communication channel, in which fans will be able to access special content and experiences," said Barça.

This community is the third opened on Viber by the Catalan club after its English (1.7 million subscribers) and Arabic (3 million) communities. This is FC Barcelona's first channel of communication in Russian, while the club also offers profiles in 10 other languages (Catalan, Spanish, English, French, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Turkish, Indonesian and Portuguese) on its various social networks (mainly via Twitter).
