Africa: Real Betis and LaLiga launch a joint socio-educational project at an academy in Tanzania

Real Betis Balompié (LaLiga Santander) and LaLiga are carrying out a joint socio-educational project at the academy of Morombo FC, a club based in Arusha, a city of 400,000 inhabitants located in the north of Tanzania (East Africa), by providing sporting and material support, announced the Seville club on 09/03/2021.

To formalise the partnership, a handover of new equipment provided by Real Betis and the Spanish professional league took place in Arusha, in the presence of Rafael Muela, general manager of the Real Betis Foundation, Alvaro Paya, LaLiga representative in Tanzania, and a representative from the Spanish Embassy in Tanzania. A coach trained by Real Betis has also been in the country for several months now, bringing the club's work methodology to local coaches and players.
