Manchester United FC: TeamViewer (software) succeeds Chevrolet for 2021-2026 (£47m/season)

TeamViewer GmbH, a German company specialised in remote computer management software, is to become a major partner and main shirt sponsor of Manchester United FC (Premier League) from 2021-22 in a deal set to last five seasons (2021-2026), announced the English club on 19/03/2021.

The value of the partnership is said to be £235m over five seasons (€274.4m as of 19/03/2021), for an estimated £47m (€54.8m) per year, according to British media reports. This means that Manchester United will continue to benefit from the most lucrative sponsorship deal in the Premier League, ahead of Chelsea FC and Liverpool FC (€46.6m/season for both clubs). Although TeamViewer's logo is normally blue, it is expected to appear in white on the club's shirts.

The German group will replace the American car manufacturer Chevrolet, which signed the most valuable sponsorship deal in the world in 2014-15. Over 2014-2021, Chevrolet has been paying Manchester United £52m per season (€60.8m at the time of signing).
