Ligue 1 Uber Eats: AliExpress (e-commerce), sleeve sponsor of Olympique Lyonnais in 2020-21

AliExpress, an e-commerce platform belonging to the Chinese group Alibaba Group Holding Limited, has become a major partner and sleeve sponsor of Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) for the remainder of the 2020-21 season (nine matches), announced the French club on 20/03/2021.

"By getting closer to an iconic player in online sales around the world, Olympique Lyonnais is confirming its desire to develop innovative partnerships and accelerating its strategy of growing awareness in territories where the brand is already established," explained OL.

This partnership began on the occasion of the Olympique Lyonnais - Paris Saint-Germain game (2-4, Matchday 30 of the 2020-21 Ligue 1 Uber Eats season) on 21/03/2021. "The brand will benefit from a certain number of visibility elements around the pitch such as the 3D mats and visibility on the LED systems. The partnership will also include a marketing package of digital activations on the club's media, as well as match-related activities," said OL.
