Bruin Sports Capital becomes a co-owner of TGI Sport (technology, media and marketing)

Bruin Sports Capital (Bruin) has entered into an agreement with Quadrant Private Equity to become a co-owner of TGI Sport (TGI), a multi-discipline sports infrastructure, technology and media rights company specialised in sports, according to the US investment fund on 22/03/2021. "The deal, subject to regulatory approval, will see Barclay Nettlefold transition from QMS Media Group CEO to TGI Sport Global CEO upon closure." Bruin is said to be investing $100m (€81m) according to US media reports.

"The new partnership will build on TGI's impressive growth, adding the strategic capabilities, capital and resources of Bruin to diversify and expand worldwide," said Bruin, who acquired 80% of the British market research agency, Two Circles on 16/12/2019.
