Danone Nations Cup: official ball sold for the benefit of a charity providing access to water

The French food group Danone and the French brand Kipsta (Decathlon group), its official supplier for the Danone Nations Cup (see below), are committing themselves to supporting access to drinking water through the US charity Watering Minds, announced the food company on 24/03/2021.

The French group and its equipment supplier are selling a replica of the official competition ball for €10, of which €3 will be donated to support Watering Minds' work. "Each ball purchased will allow a child to have access to drinking water for a year via his or her school," said Danone.

"Every year since 2019, the Danone Nations Cup is committed and encourages participants, ambassadors and supporters to join this cause to provide access to drinking water to as many school children as possible. Thanks to these numerous actions, €100,000 has already been raised and more than 30,000 children in India have been able to have access to clean water via their schools," added the French group.
