FIFA: Annual Report, with 2020 financial statements and 2022 provisional budget

"In 2020, football stopped and then returned, but only when we can safely enjoy full stadiums again will we be able to truly celebrate the return to football. You can be sure that we will do everything we can to make this happen in a safe and secure way," wrote Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA, in the foreword to the world body's annual report approved by the FIFA Council on 19/03/2021.

"The $1.5bn (€1.22bn) that we have made available to football through the FIFA Covid-19 Relief Plan is a testament to the responsibility that FIFA takes for the well-being of football and the football community. It is also testament to the new FIFA's sound financial management since 2016," said the president of the international federation.

In addition to the FIFA Covid-19 Relief plan, the 2020 annual report contains, among other things, the world governing body's 2020 financial statements and 2022 budget.

The 2020 consolidated financial statements will be submitted for approval at the 71^st FIFA Congress, which will be held for the second time in the form of a videoconference on 21/05/2021.
