Formula 1: international broadcasters for the 2021 season (Canal+, Sky, DAZN, ESPN...)

The pay and free TV groups Canal+ (France), Sky (UK), Sky Italia (Italy), Sky Deutschland (Germany), OTT platform DAZN (Spain), the pay TV bouquet ESPN (USA), Chinese groups Tencent (internet) and CCTV (public broadcasting) are among the international broadcasters of the 2021 Formula 1 World Championship season, which begins with the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix at the Sakhir International Circuit this weekend on 26-28/03/2021.

In Germany and Italy, four Grand Prix (GP) will be broadcast free-to-air on Sky groups' channels (the generalist DTT channel TV8 for Sky Italia and the sports news channel Sky Sport News for Sky Deutschland). Canal+ is also expected to broadcast four Grand Prix free-to-air this season (on Canal+ or the DTT channel C8) unless it finds a sub-licensing deal during the season.

In Spain and the United Kingdom, only the GPs held on national territory (respectively the Barcelona GP on 09/05/2021 and the Silverstone GP on 18/07/2021) are broadcast free of charge. The private TV channel Channel 4 broadcasts the GP free-to-air (as well as highlights of the other races…
