European Leagues: post of president is replaced by a management board comprised of four members

Javier Tebas (ESP, LaLiga), Mathieu Moreuil (FRA, Premier League), Claus Thomsen (DEN, Divisionsforeningen) and Claudius Schäfer (SUI, Swiss Football League) are the four members of the European Leagues management board, established during the new board of directors' constitution meeting on 29/03/2021.

The management board is a new collective body that replaces the president: Lars-Christer Olsson (SWE), who had held the position since 11/03/2016 (after succeeding Frédéric Thiriez), was appointed honorary president during European Leagues' general assembly on 26/03/2021, which also elected its new board for the 2021-2025 period (see photo and file below).

The management board is now responsible for appointing the chairman of European Leagues' meetings as well as the body's representative on the UEFA executive committee.
