Milano Cortina 2026: Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games emblem revealed

The "Futura" logo has been chosen as the logo for the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Milan and and Cortina d'Ampezzo (ITA)," announced the IOC on 30/03/2021. "The emblem traces a single ice-white line of the number 26, reflecting Milano Cortina 2026's ambition to place sustainability and legacy at its core," said the governing body of the Olympic Games.

For the first time, the choice followed a worldwide public vote organised from 07 to 25/03/2021, launched to select one of two proposed designs (see below). "Just over 871,000 votes were cast from 169 countries around the world, with around 75% of entries selecting 'Futura' as their favourite," said the IOC.
