Serie A: 2021-2024 international TV rights (excluding USA and MENA) awarded to Infront (€139m/year)

The Lega Serie A general assembly has awarded the international broadcasting rights (excluding the USA and MENA zone) for the Serie A TIM to the Swiss media and marketing rights agency Infront, for the 2021-2024 cycle, following a unanimous vote by the 20 clubs on 02/04/2021. The rights were allocated for €139m per season according to Italian media. At present, it has not been specified by the League or Infront whether the rights to the Coppa Italia are included in this deal.

The American broadcasting group CBS acquired the US broadcasting rights to the Serie A TIM and Coppa Italia, over the 2021-2024 cycle, for €64m per year (including €57m for the Serie A), according to the American agency Associated Press, on 23/03/2021.

The international broadcasting rights to the Serie A over the 2021-2024 cycle are therefore currently in the region of €196m per season, pending the results for the MENA zone, which has been the subject of a separate tender and will be the subject of private negotiations in the coming days.
