1. FC Köln: Hummel to succeed Uhlsport as equipment supplier from 2022-2027 for €4m per season

Hummel, is to become the official equipment supplier of 1. FC Köln (Bundesliga) for five seasons from 2022-23 until the end of the 2026-27 season, announced the Danish equipment manufacturer on 02/04/2021. The agreement was negotiated by Infront, the club's marketing agency.

The deal is reported to be worth €20m, or €4m per season for FC Köln, according to local press in Cologne (GER). Hummel will succeed Uhlsport, FC Köln's German equipment supplier for the 2018-2022 cycle (€3m/season).

"The multi-year agreement will see Hummel manufacture and supply FC Köln with bespoke playing, training and travel wear ahead of the 2022-23 season," said the brand. In the 2020-21 Bundesliga, only SC Freiburg is equipped by hummel (€1.5m/season). The Danish group is also present in the Premier League with Everton FC (€11m/season) since 2020-21, and soon with Southampton FC from 2021-22 (replacing Under Armour).
