"We must ensure that sport actors (clubs, athletes, etc.) are guaranteed that firms will not influence the normal course of competitions, nor be able to influence the development of sport. We must reconcile the legitimate concern of profitability of investment firms with the DNA and values of sport. Business cannot, and must not, run up against the secular values of sport.
