LFP: launch of the "Ligue 1 Uber Eats" Twitch channel, 1^st programme to be broadcast on 07/04/2021

The Ligue de Football Professionnel has launched its official "Ligue 1 Uber Eats" Twitch channel on the streaming platform specialised in video games and entertainment, on 07/04/2021.

On the new channel belonging to the Amazon subsidiary, the LFP will broadcast exclusively and in full the eLigue 1, the League's esports competition, as well as "original programmes focused on the French Championship". The eLigue 1 was previously broadcast by the pay-TV group beIN Sports (2017-2020), which "did not fight to continue broadcasting the virtual competition" according to the French sports daily L'Équipe, which interviewed Mathieu Ficot, deputy CEO of the LFP, on 06/04/2021.

Two two-hour Twitch broadcasts will cover the latest news from the Ligue 1 Uber Eats each week. 19 two-hour live shows (four entertainment shows and 15 live matches) will be produced to accompany the eLigue 1 from 07/04 to 05/06/2021. Each of these programmes will be hosted by specialised influencers and streamers.
