Spain: Banco Santander extends as title sponsor of LaLiga's championships until 2022-23

Banco Santander, title sponsor (first level) of LaLiga's professional football championships, has extended its agreement for two additional seasons (2021-22 and 2022-23), plus an optional season (2023-24), announced the League and the Spanish banking group on 07/04/2021. In 2020-21, the total annual value of the partnership is estimated at €20m.

The top two Spanish men's divisions will keep their respective names: LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank (LaLiga 1|2|3 for the 2016-2019 cycle). "As well as continuing to be the official sponsor of LaLiga, the agreement with Banco Santander goes further. Banco Santander will remain the sponsor of LaLiga Genuine Santander, the professional league created for players with intellectual disabilities, as well as LaLiga Promises, the global competition for under 12s. In addition, Banco Santander is the main sponsor of the official FIFA 21 (EA Sports) competition in Spain: eLaLiga Santander," said the Spanish League.
