Formula E: 3-year agreement with UNICEF to support its Safe and Healthy Environment Fund

Formula E has entered into a three-year agreement with UNICEF in support of its Safe and Healthy Environment Fund, which aims "to deliver environmental programmes and policy actions for children and young people around the world," said the organiser of the electric single-seater world championship on 08/04/2021. "Formula E is the first global sports organisation to partner with UNICEF on climate change."

"The funding from Formula E will contribute to programmes and policy actions to improve the wellbeing of over three million children. Projects supported by the Fund include initiatives to provide schools with sustainable energy solutions and reduce child exposure to air pollution through increased monitoring and advocacy. A sport designed for fans of the future and aligned to the FIA's PurposeDriven movement, Formula E feels a responsibility to protect this next generation and will use its global platform to raise awareness of and amplify UNICEF's work," explained Formula E ahead of Rounds 3 and 4 of the 2021 season which will be held in Rome (ITA) on 10 and 11/04/2021 (see…
