Facebook: Top 100 European football clubs with the most likes (April 2021)

Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) is the most followed European club on Facebook (111 million likes), ahead of FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander, 103 million) and Manchester United FC (Premier League, 73 million), according to data collected by News Tank Football, which establishes the Top 100 most popular European clubs on this social network as of 01/04/2021.

Tottenham Hotspur FC (Premier League), 13^th, posted the best growth in absolute value on Facebook with 1.3 million additional likes since February 2021. In percentage terms, AS Monaco FC  (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) posted the best growth during the period (+10.7%), ahead of Crystal Palace FC (Premier League, +7.2%).

The Premier League is the most represented league in the Top 20 of this ranking (seven clubs), followed by the Serie A TIM (four) and LaLiga Santander (three). The Süper Lig places two clubs, with the Turkish Championship being the only league outside the European Top 5 to be represented in the Top 20. The Bundesliga and the Ligue 1 Uber Eats also have two representatives each in this ranking.
