CIES: Dortmund, Nice and Monaco - European Top 5 clubs where U21s get the most game time in 2020-21

Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) is the club with the highest percentage of minutes played by players under 21 since the start of the 2020-21 season in the European Top 5 leagues, according to the CIES Football Observatory's Weekly Post, published on 12/04/2021.

With 28.5% of minutes played by players who have not yet celebrated their 21^st birthday at the time of the match, Borussia Dortmund are ahead of three Ligue 1 Uber Eats clubs: OGC Nice (24.3%), AS Monaco FC (24.1%) and Stade Rennais FC (20.7%). The percentage of minutes played by U21s is above 16% at seven French league clubs in total, while this figure is only reached by two clubs in the Bundesliga (Dortmund and FC Schalke 04), one club in the Premier League (Wolverhampton Wanderers FC), and none in LaLiga Santander or Serie A TIM.
