Italy/tennis: SuperTennis to offer free delayed broadcast of 1 Wimbledon match per day

The Pay-TV group Sky Italia has sublicensed part of its TV rights for the ATP tennis competitions in Italy for 2021 and 2022 to Sportcast, the company that manages SuperTennis, on 13/04/2021.

Through this agreement, SuperTennis, which is accessible via DTT and Sky packages, will be able to offer, in co-broadcast with Sky and its Now package, 12 tournaments including five ATP 500 and seven ATP 250. The Italian Tennis Federation (FIT) channel will also broadcast, free of charge and on a delayed basis from 21:00, one Wimbledon match for each day of the competition, in addition to live broadcasts of the junior tournaments and the doubles finals.

SuperTennis will also have delayed coverage of one match per day of the nine ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, including the Rolex Monte Carlo Masters (11-18/04/2021) and the Nitto ATP Finals, which will take place for the first time in Turin (ITA). Sky Sport and Now will also broadcast these tournaments in full.
