NFL: 3 partnerships with betting operators for a total amount of nearly $1bn over 2021-2026

Caesars Entertainment, DraftKings and FanDuel, three American sports betting operators, are to become the first "official sports betting partners" of the National Football League in the United States from 2021-22, announced the body on 15/04/2021.

The set of partnerships will reportedly run for three seasons (2021-2024), plus two additional one-year options (for 2024-25 and then 2025-26), and are expected to bring in nearly $1bn (€835.5m) to the NFL over those potential five seasons (2021-2026), according to today's US media reports.

"all three partners will have the exclusive ability to leverage NFL marks within the sports betting category and activate around retail and online sports betting. They will also engage with fans through NFL-themed free-to-play games," said the North American league, which is therefore allowing gambling advertisements during TV broadcasts from the 2021-22 season.
