LaLiga/Mediapro: a second match to be broadcast on Twitch (Real Sociedad - Sevilla FC, 18/04/2021)

LaLiga and Mediapro will broadcast a second LaLiga Santander game (Real Sociedad - Sevilla FC; Matchday 31 of the 2020-21 season), in Spain, on the streaming platform Twitch, on Sunday 18/04/2021 (kick-off at 14:00 CET), announced the Spanish audiovisual group on 16/04/2021.

The Basque derby between Real Sociedad and Athletic Club Bilbao (1-1) generated "almost 1 million views" on Twitch on Wednesday 07/04/2021 (kick-off 21:00 CET), according to Mediapro.

The first match was broadcast on the Twitch channels of LaLiga (which has mearly 9,000 followers on the platform), Gol Television (40,000 followers) and esports commentator Ibai Llanos (5.7 million followers). The second match will also be broadcast on the first two channels mentioned as well as on the channel of another influencer "RobertPG" (486,000 followers).

The match will also be broadcast on the Spanish free DTT channel Gol. The channel, owned by the Mediapro group, has been broadcasting one free-to-air game per matchday of LaLiga Santander since the 2016-17 season (2016-2019 and 2019-2022 cycles). The remaining nine matches…
