Super League: the 12 founding clubs account for 62.5% of the 2011-2020 Champions League semi-finals

25 of the 40 places (62.5%) in the semi-finals of the last 10 Champions Leagues (2010-11 to 2019-20) were occupied by one of the 12 big clubs which have announced their desire to create a European Super League on 18/04/2020. Over this same cycle, they also represent:
• 45% of the Round of 16 places (72 participations out of 160 places).
• 55% of quarter-finalists (44 out of 80).
• 75% of the finalists (15 out of 20).
• 80% of the winners (8 out of 10).

Apart from these 12 clubs, only the current holder of the trophy, FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga), have won the Champions League in the last decade, defeating Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) in 2013 and then Paris Saint -Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) in 2020. Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) won 4 of the 10 editions played during this period.

Since its creation in 1955, the Champions Clubs Cup / Champions League has been won 40 out of 65 times (61.5%) by one of the 12 founder clubs of the Super League.
