Premier League: Betting operator Fun88 to be shirt sponsor for Burnley FC for 2014-15

The Asian internet betting operator Fun88 will be the shirt sponsor for Burnley FC (2^nd in Championship, the English second division in 2013-14) the club announced on 23/06/2014. (The club is promoted to Premier League for the 2014-15 season after two years in Championship.) The amount of the contract has not been disclosed.

Fun88 will replace the kitchen furniture brand Premier Range, which was Burnley FC's shirt sponsor in 2012-13 and 2013-14. Fun88 will also be visible in LED advertising at Turf Moor stadium (capacity 22,619).

"This new deal with Fun88 represents the biggest shirt sponsorship deal in the club’s history. Thanks to Fun88, Burnley Football Club will continue to gain popularity in the Asian market," said Lee Hoos, Burnley FC's CEO, on 23/06/2014.

• Puma has been the kit supplier for Burnley FC since 2010-11. The contract between the two parties will run until the end of the 2014-15 season.
