LFP: Kipsta (Decathlon), ball supplier to Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT for 2022-2027

Kipsta, a brand of sports equipment of the Decathlon group, has become the supplier of the official balls to Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT over five seasons, from 2022-23 and until the end of 2026-27, announced the LFP on 21/04/2021.

"Following the consultation launched in March 2021, the LFP has appointed Kipsta, the football brand of the Decathlon group, as the new official supplier to the LFP," indicated the French Professional Football League.

"Recognized for its technological know-how and its quality commitments, Kipsta is now a dedicated 100% football brand. Designed in France, Kipsta's premium balls have the FIFA Quality Pro label and are subject to quality tests at various stages of their production," said the League.

Kipsta will therefore succeed uhlsport, which remains the official ball supplier for both competitions until the end of 2021-22. The German brand replaced adidas as the official supplier of the Ligue 1 ball for the 2017-2022 period on 12/11/2015.
