esports: Lorient FC launch their 1^st team for the eLigue 1 (LFP) with new partner Atlantide Wave

Atlantide Wave, a "humble and ambitious" esports club based in the Yvelines (FRA), has become a partner of Lorient FC (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) in order to launch a joint team on the FIFA 21 video game (published by EA Sports) for two seasons (2021-2022), announced the French club on 23/04/2021. This is the first esports team launched by FC Lorient.

"As part of this first partnership, Julien 'Fouma' Perbal (19 years old) and Leandro Peixoto (18 years old) are the two Atlantide Wave players who will wear the colours of FC Lorient for the eLigue 1 (broadcast on the LFP's Twitch channel) at the end of this season and for next season. They will also benefit from a sharing of skills and knowledge in order to improve their sporting qualities," explained FC Lorient.
