The Football Association Premier League Limited, the Premier League's commercial company, has posted a turnover of £2.884bn (€3.18bn) for the 2020 financial year ending 31/07/2020, a decrease of 12.5% (£3.297bn in 2019), according to its annual financial statements published on 22/04/2021.

This decrease can be explained in particular by a £330m (€368m) discount granted to its national (Sky, BT Sport and Amazon) and international broadcasters, in relation to the 2019-20 season, as reported by the British media since June 2020. This was due to the three-month halt of the 2019-20 Premier League season, which then resumed behind closed doors on 17/06/2020. The 2020 accounts show revenues from international TV rights of £1.352bn (€1.493bn), down £46m compared to 2019 (£1.398bn).

The Football Association Premier League Limited posted an operating profit of £18.6m for 2020 (€20.5m, versus £132.3m in 2019) and a net profit of £116m (€128m versus a loss of £41.67m in 2019).
