Bundesliga: Nent extends its TV rights in 9 countries (Poland, Scandinavia...) until 2028-29

The Swedish pay and free-TV group Nent (Nordic entertainment group) has extended its broadcasting rights to the Bundesliga, the 2.Bundesliga, and the German Super Cup, for the countries of Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, until 2028-29, on 27/04/2021.

Nent holds these rights for the current cycle (2018-2021) in Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark. Nent had extended these rights, over the 2021-2025 cycle, in these four Nordic countries, and then had acquired them, over the same period, in the other countries mentioned above in 2020.

Nent thus holds the rights for the next eight seasons in these nine countries. This is the longest broadcasting agreement signed by both the DFL (via its subsidiary Bundesliga international) and Nent.

The matches will be broadcast with the Viaplay streaming platform.
