FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021: 9 of the 16 teams divided into 4 groups following the draw

Qatar and Iraq in Group A, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and Syria in Group B, Morocco and Saudi Arabia in Group C, Algeria and Egypt in Group D, are the results of the draw for the first edition of the FIFA Arab Cup held at the Katara Opera House in Doha (QAT) on 27/04/2021.

The competition, which will serve as a dress rehearsal for the XXII World Cup, is scheduled from 01 to 18/12/2021: it will therefore end one year to the day before the final of the 2022 World Cup, with the 18/12 being National Day (commemorating Qatar's unification in 1878), a national holiday in Qatar.

While nine teams (the top-ranked in the FIFA rankings, including hosts Qatar) have already been allocated to the four Arab Cup groups, the remaining seven teams will be the winners of knockout qualifiers played beforehand:
• Q1: Oman (80^th in the FIFA rankings) - Somalia (197)

• Q3: Jordan (95) - South Sudan (169)
• Q4: Bahrain (99) - Kuwait (148)
• Q5: Mauritania (101) - Yemen (145)
