2020-21 Europa League: head-to-head Manchester United - AS Roma (semi-final first leg, 29/04/2021)

Manchester United FC (Premier League) are ranked 4^th place in the 2021 Most Valuable Soccer Teams established by the American business magazine Forbes at $4.2bn (€3.5bn), a Top 20 in which AS Roma (Serie A TIM) are ranked 17^th at $548m (€452m), as the two clubs prepare to face each other in the first leg of their 2020-21 Europa League semi final behind closed doors at Old Trafford (Manchester, ENG) on Thursday 29/04/2021 (kick-off at 20:00 local time, 21:00 CET).

The Manchester club is also ranked 4^th in the 2021 Deloitte Football Money League, a ranking that only takes into account the turnover generated in 2019-20. With €580.4m in turnover, Manchester United is far ahead of AS Roma (€141.2m) who do not feature in this Top 20 (the club was 16^th in the 2020 edition in terms of revenue for 2018-19).

The "Manchester United FC" brand is valued at €1.314bn, which enabled the English club to reach 3^rd place in the "Football Annual 2020" ranking published in July 2020 by the American company Brand Finance, a specialist in the economic valuation of brands. AS Roma are 26^th in this Top 50.
