Ligue 1 Uber Eats: Instagram, Facebook and Twitter statements of the 20 clubs (May 2021)

The 20 clubs competing in the 2020-21 Ligue 1 Uber Eats season total more than 135 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/05/2021. The French championship is the least popular European Top 5 league on these three social networks combined, with an average of 6.8 million fans per club.

Paris Saint-Germain remains the most popular French club with more than 87 million fans, followed by AS Monaco FC with 14 million and Olympique de Marseille, with 11.5 million.

The Parisian club posted the best growth in absolute value among the Ligue 1 clubs during the month of April, with a total of 1.3 million additional fans across the three social networks, 58% of which were on Instagram alone. The only clubs from the European Top 5 to perform better on the platform were Real Madrid CF and FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander, +1 million followers each).
