Bundesliga: Peter Romics appointed merchandising director of FC Bayern Munich

Peter Romics has been appointed as merchandising director for FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) "with immediate effect," announced the German club on 28/04/2021. Romics will report to Jörg Wacker, the club's executive board member in charge of internationalisation and strategy.

"Romics has already played a key role in shaping the development of the department as a consultant since 2016. Among other things, he was responsible for the planning and implementation of the major 'FC Bayern World' project (a multi-functional 3,500m2 complex in the heart of Munich, inaugurated in December 2020 and including the club's flagship store). Before that, he successfully managed numerous companies in the retail business as an independent entrepreneur," said Bayern Munich.
