2021-22 European Top 5: FC Crotone and Parma Calcio 1913 relegated to Serie BKT

FC Crotone, beaten 0-2 by FC Inter Milan at home on 01/05/2021, and Parma Calcio 1913, who lost 1-0 away to Torino FC on 03/05/2021, have been officially relegated to the Serie BKT for the 2021-22 season after Matchday 34 of the Serie A TIM.

Crotone, who were promoted to the top flight in 2020-21, have 18 points in total with four games remaining, 14 points behind the first non-relegated side (Cagliari Calcio, 32 points), who they can no longer catch. Parma have 20 points and are condemned to the second division due to a particularly unfavourable goal difference against the Sardinian club. A third club will automatically join the Serie BKT after Matchday 38 of the Serie A TIM, a league that does not have a play-off. As for promotion, nothing has yet been decided at the top of the Serie B table.
