The Amazon Prime Video platform will be the exclusive broadcaster in the United States of the NFL's "Thursday Night Football", starting with the 2022 season, announced the American Football League on 03/05/2021.

The original agreement between the American e-commerce group and the NFL, announced along with other major agreements on 18/03/2021 (see below), initially covered the 2023-2033 cycle (11 seasons).

The 2021 season will be the last Thursday Night Football season on the American channel Fox, which initially held the TV rights to these games for the 2014-2022 cycle.

The first broadcast partnership between Amazon and the NFL was only for the digital rights to 11 of the 18 Thursday Night Football games. It began for the 2017 regular season and was extended for the 2018-19 and 2020-2022 cycles.

NFL: 2023-2033 (11 seasons) TV rights to Fox, Amazon, CBS, ESPN/ABC and NBC for $105bn (agreements on 18/03/2021)
