Serie A TIM: Instagram, Facebook and Twitter statements of the 20 clubs (May 2021)

The 20 clubs competing in the 2020-21 Serie A TIM season total more than 222 million fans on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 01/05/2020. The Serie A TIM is the third most followed European Top 5 league on these three social networks combined, behind LaLiga Santander and the Premier League, with an average of over 11 million fans per club.

With more than 102 million fans across the three social networks, Juventus FC is the most popular Italian club ahead of AC Milan (42 million) and the 2020-21 Italian champions, FC Inter Milan (36 million).

Juventus posted the best growth in absolute value on each of the three social networks during the month of April 2021, with 940,813 additional fans in total, including 54% (+510,248 followers) on Instagram alone.

In terms of percentage growth, promoted side Benevento Calcio posted the best growth among the Serie A TIM clubs on Twitter (+2.9%), while fellow promoted side AC Spezia Calcio, posted the best percentage growth on Instagram (+2.2%), and Juventus on Facebook (+0.8%).
