Premier League: Liverpool FC to host 10,000 fans at Anfield versus Crystal Palace (23/05/2021)

"Liverpool FC (Premier League) is planning to welcome supporters back to Anfield Stadium (53,394 capacity) for its final Premier League match of the 2020-21 season, against Crystal Palace FC on Sunday 23/05/2021 (kick-off at 16:00 local time)," announced the club on 05/05/2021, after a statement from the Premier League announced a return of fans to stadiums for the final two matchdays of the 2020-21 season the same day (see below).

"Government plans outline that from Monday 01/05/2021, large outdoor sporting venues where crowds can spread out will be able to welcome back 10,000 spectators. Anfield could therefore be permitted to operate with a maximum of 10,000 supporters, in the interest of public health and safety," said the reigning Premier League champions.

The available tickets will be allocated via an online ballot open for "current season ticket holders or current official members with 19 credits from the 2018-19 Premier League season, who have completed Fan Update and must not have attended one of the three games played in front of supporters in December 2020.
