2020-21 Bundesliga: FC Bayern Munich crowned German champions for the ninth consecutive season

FC Bayern Munich have been crowned German champions after RB Leipzig lost 3-2 away to Borussia Dortmund on Matchday 32 of the 2020-21 Bundesliga season on Saturday 08/05/2021. A 6-0 victory over Borussia Monchengladbach at the Allianz Arena gave the Bavarian club 74 points with two games to go, 10 more than Leipzig (2^nd with 64 points), who can no longer catch up.

Bayern have now won their ninth consecutive Bundesliga title. The last time another club won the German championship was Borussia Dortmund in 2011-12, who also won in 2010-11.

FC Bayern Munich have now won 31 German league titles, consolidating their position as the most successful German club. 1 Fußball Club Nürnberg (9 titles) and Borussia Dortmund (8 titles) complete the podium.
